Most organizations have an environmental management system (EMS) in place, but many struggle to prove its value, and others don’t utilize it to its full potential. One place where many fail to unlock the value of their EMS is in utilizing business intelligence (BI) tools to help make informed decisions about the effectiveness of an EMS.
In this webinar, Ian Cohen will cover the differences between an EMS and an environmental management information system (EMIS), how to utilize different BI tools, and how you can turn compliance management information into decision-useful data.
Attend this webinar to learn:
• Some of the key differences between an EMS and an EMIS
• How BI complements the Plan-Do-Check-Act EMS methodology and ISO 14001 compliance
• The value of BI tools for Environmental Management
• How to utilize compliance information for decision making
